Twelve-year-old Astrid has always followed in the footsteps of her best friend Nicole. Now Nicole is heading off to dance camp, but Astrid has found a different passion . . . roller derby!

This book tackles important topics like friendship (fading and sparking), finding our own way, and starting junior high with a sense of self and optimism.
